I have been using the predator for a little while, but very intensely as james at RWTD can tell you. for the new guys, theres a lot of stuff the P can do, but as with any tuning you must supply the right info for truely custom tunes. The P is almost fully capable of doing eveyything that edit can do, its just you cant do it personally. Heres is what i have done, and am waiting on.

COT (catalytic overtemp protection)
EGR codes
AIR codes
TM (torque Management)

Altered the fuel to achieve a 13.1:1afr under real load.
Altered the spark table +4* under 1200rpm for in gear idle.
And just recently had the High Octane table copied over the Low Octane table, this allows the PCM to only pull 1* (which I chose)of spark when the PCM see's KR. Instead of shooting it down from 30+* to a max of 19*. This is not for everyone, I do race my car...EVERY weekend, unless I break the things like the Torque Arm bushing housing...Anyway.

The P can program the convertor lock up as well and much more things.
I am also working with James to get the low or mid rpm by cyl tables and related tables altered to not recognize the misfire codes set by cam cars like mine. Yes the P can just simply delete the P0300 code, but then if you have a misfire up top you will never know. There are other things as well, and I (and Drew778) will continue to work with james to get the most out of this product. i dont sell it, or write tunes (although I have asked how I can get into this aspect....hear that James I just wanted to help some of you out.
By just installing the generic tune for a modded car, headers etc...anything altering the AF ratio, you need to get an auto-tap log or similar and send that with your request, this should yield a very close tune. Just dont get the P and think that is it, its not it is the begining. Is ti for everyone, No. But neither is LS1Edit or HPP3. I enjoy the user adjustments, especially at the track when I want to run the little 150 shot and I simply take a minute to pull the timing, and add a little fuel. I've worked with the Preditor and found it is better than HPP3 by a long shot,but still does not compare to Edit.The bad part of the Pred is counting on a outside source to tune for you and hope it's right.Also the added time to wait for that tune.I know a few people that already tossed the Pred to get Edit because of this aggrivation.

Oh yeah, they can also raise the Rev Limiter past what the issued Predator comes with being 6600. Mine is at 6890,a nd my shift points are 6300.

 

It's a very good tool if you don't know much about tunning, plus you don't have to spend the money on a laptop and edit.

I know waiting is a pain, but in the end if the tunning work well, to me it's worth it.
