How do I improve initial throttle response
How do I improve initial throttle response Have played around w/ VE & spark, but am not getting the response from just opening to say 3% TPS change. Usually, it takes more opening before the RPM's come up. What is the proper adjustment to get the response earlier? Thanks (EFI Live tuning software is used)
I would make sure your scanner is seeing the slight change in tps. And if so, thats a bit strange that it doesnt do anything.
Got a log or something? How bout a tune? Could be something to see there. I got an idea but will reserve comment for the time being.
It feels like 3%. This morning, I made a throttle follower & paramater change. Plan to make a new log today. Here is the tune before today's follower change. Have also added the dump file from the previous log. (dump file was before the posted tune; spark & VE mod's. since then).

Here is today's log file. The throttle follower & parameter changes seemed to have helped. Chages were:
-TPS % change is now 0.29% (parameter)
-Airflow g/s change is now 0.00,0.05 0.50,0.11 1.00,0.11 1.50,0.22 2.00,0.22 3.00,0.54
all others were left as they were (throttle follower). Should I continue w/ an airflow g/s increase or are there better solutions.
I am a complete newb @ tuning & have just begun changing the program. The knock retard @ WOT needs some more work, as you will see. any other suggestions are appreciated. Thank-you
