Default Code P0131

I did a search, but I didn't find a good answer.

So I was just driving normally when my SES light came on. I didn't think much of it since I needed to get home, so kept driving for another 20 minutes. The car felt fine and the power is still there.

Before going home, I dropped by Autozone and had them scan it for me. They gave the code P0131 and told me about a possible bad O2. Wouldn't a bad O2 make the car run like ****? It runs perfectly fine. What else could it be? I checked for apparent vacuum leaks, but found none.

I would like to add, I drive around everywhere with my cutout open, and when I let off the gas, my exhaust burbles and pops. Could this throw off my A/F ratio and throw this code?

Umm I believe p0131 is o2 sensor 1/1 voltage low? im going off the top of my head so someone may want to double check. Depending on your mileage, it prob is just a tired o2 sensor, or rubbed thru wires. clear the code, with a scanner or by battery disconnect. if the SES light pops on with the same code , then you should investigate the problem.

Yeah, that's the code. Disconnecting the battery clears codes?

Right now I'm throwing

P0131 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1
P1133 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1

I'm guessing the last code is a result of the first two.
Bank 1 is driver's side correct?
I just replaced the bitch about 3,000 miles ago, I'm guessing this just means there could be a problem with the wiring or something.

I'm gonna look under the car tomorrow to see how the wiring is and I guess replace the 02 again if I can't find anything.

If anyone has insight on this it would be much appreciated
