Default PE mode question

When in PE mode, does the MAF come into play? What is the PCM actually using to calculate how much fuel it needs besides the VE table? I know it's not looking at the 02's....

I'm running a MAF and working on WOT tuning. Thanks for any info/advice.

Maf will cause the most change. HPT has a histogram. Log command and actual A/F ratio with MAF HZ. Make a filter that only logs when the a/fratio is below 13.75.

Thanks for the replies. So to get my VE table correct for PE mode, is it correct to say I need to adjust it in speed density mode and then re-enable and scale the maf?
