Need tuned computer turned back to stock-LS1
I searched for awhile but couldn't quite find what I was looking for.
Background-I am racing a 02 LS1 M6 in a stock road racing class with NASA and I want to verify that one of the computer's I have is 100% factory stock. Though if there a year model (98-02) that might have a better tune for power I would like to have that tune. I also have to run a restrictor and am dyno tested to verify I don't make too much power so it doesn't help me to try and tune the car to make more power. Next year i will be limited to around 265 rwhp and 310 rwtq.
Do I need to take it to the dealer to get it flashed or is there a way to flash it so that it goes back to the stock tune? If so does it have to be in the car? Can a tuner flash it back to stock?
If the computer was tuned for a stock car what values would need to be changed to get it back to stock? I am assuming one of the computer's I have has the timing and PE tables changed so where can I find the stock numbers to get it back to stock.
Thanks for the help.
