Default VE tuning

When setting up PE, does the table take into account I'm asking for more fuel at a specific rpm? ex: if I want 12:5 at 3000rpm under PE and in the 3k regions of the VE table, if it shows 10 on the rich side...does this mean it considering the commanded AFR 12:5 and I'm still richer than what I commanded?

You have to set the PE for what you want the target AFR to be in PE mode. PE mode operates independently from the regular target AFR you have set in the "General" section in the "Fuel" area of the HP Tuners software you're using. If you set the PE for 12.5:1 and you see that you're running too rich, you must recurve the MAF if you're still using the MAF sensor, or correct the VE table (lower the numbers in the table) if you're using Speed Density. Note: With your turbo setup, your PE table should be set to 11.5:1 if you're using MAF, or if you're doing an SD tune, set the Boost enrichmnet to the same value (11.5) to allow the engine to last longer than brown bananas on a hot day.

Default

why would you advise doing a MAF tune on a turbo setup?
