95 LT1 computer got fried while tuning
95 LT1 computer got fried while tuning this happened to a friend of mine yesterday. its a H/C/I/E w/ a big stall, gears, built trans. A local guy who tuned my car as well as my dads and about 70 others (mostly ls1s) was almost done tuning the lt1 when out of no where the car started to run like complete *** and wont even start now. It was running awesome until that happened. It has security codes and all sorts of other codes in it, not sure what they are yet. Any ideas on what would cause this?
Did it happen while he was trying to upload a tune? That **** just happens sometimes on the LTs. Sometimes its from a loss of battery power in the car or the laptop, but sometimes it happens for no reason. Sometimes you can let them sit for 1/2 hour, and go back and they're ok. Other times, they're spent. I would recommend letting it sit for a good long while, maybe overnight, with the battery disconnected, and then see if it will start.
