Hi all, I've been having issues lately with my car surging at any cruising speed in just about every gear when I'm under 3K RPMs.
Anyway to fix the surging. I'm running 28* of timing, I'm in the desert heat, have stage 2 heads w/roughly a TR230 cam. If I pull 2-3 degrees of timing would that be a quick fix or is there more that I will need to do in order to stop the car from surging? I'm also getting horrible gas mileage. I just filled up and I got 130 miles out of 3/4 of a tank!

The guy who just did a quick tune on my car used ATAP and after the head/cam install my LTRMs were pegged @ 25 (at WOT). After making the changes to what I'm currently running my LTRMs were negative at idle & cruise and 0 at WOT. Hope this background info helps someone in solving my problems.
Thanks,
Tyler
