Shift Settings?
Shift Settings? I Need Info On Upshift And Downshift Mph Settings For 4l60e With 373 Rear, 26 Inch Tires, 3500 Stall And Shifting At Aprox. 6300 Rpm. I Changed The Cam And Am Having Trouble With Shifts. It Was Perfect Before. I'm Sure Someone Has Pretty Much The Same Setup. Thanks For Any Help.
Thanks for reply but i have a Diablo Sport Preditor. It is doing all kinda of crazy stuff. Sometimes it bounces off the limiter, sometimes it seems like it is between gears and sometimes it has crisp quick shifts like it should. All of the problems are at WOT only and only right after the cam change. I had it tuned and the motor is fine but the tuner didn't change the shift tables. I have already dropped my shift points some and seems to have made some improvement but not consistant. Trans has always had Transgo trans kit in it and worked well.

I ran into something like that with a hypertech years ago. If you raise the shift points and not the rev limiter it will do similar to what you describe. But that was on a stock motor. You may have issues somewhere else.
Limiter is set at 6600 now and I can't get my Diablosport to let me raise it. Rod bolts have been changed and it really needs to be higher anyway because 6600 is where power starts to fall off. My tuner was supposed to raise limiter to 6800 but I guess he forgot.
Thanks for input but I still need upshift and downshift MPH info. just to make sure mine is in ball park. I don't really understand the relationship between the upshift and downshift. Why are the downshift MPHs higher than the upshifts?
