O2 sims, code, or something like that.

O2 sims, code, or something like that. Okay, I'm getting a code about every third time I start up my car.
It's for an O2 sensor heater circuit malfunctioning, bank 2, sensor 2.
Someone told me this is the O2 sensor behind the cat, which I don't have.
I just got the car, so I'm not sure what exactly has been done to it, but I do not have cats, and there are no sensors plugged into my exhaust, except the forward O2 sensors.
The aforementioned code is the only code being thrown, and it lights up with 2 codes, the second the same as the first, only "pending" instead of actually present.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

You may have O2 sims and one of them went bad.
or
Your tuner may have been drinking and missed turning off one of the codes.

You may need to give it more time to set to set the code for the other side.

the code just popped up, i'll give it a few days this time... see what it does.
anyone know of a tuner who'll get rid of the codes somewhere around Kansas City?
as well as EGR and AIR, of course, as long as i'm killing codes for emissions equiptment, may as well scrap it all, right?

that's a very tempting offer. i may do that if I don't find someone to do it to mine. I think i have a tuned pcm already... and i'm not sure exactly what mods have been done to the car yet, so I don't know if I can go back to a stock tune without losing a lot.

I'll assume I don't have a tune since the guy that sold it to the dealer i bought it from just told me it doesn't have a h/c package. and that tells me it'd be fine to go with a new one. it's prob about time for one anyways. and i can't afford the downtime of my DD if I were to send it in to someone. mail is slow.
