with EFI Live you have to use a liscense in order to do any changes to the pcm. The 97-98 don't require the use of a liscence but 99 and up do. The liscence cost 100 bucks through EFI Live. I myself have tuned a few 97-98cars for people and haven't charged them anything because it doesn't cost me anything but the 99 up they have to pay

If this guy lived near me, had a 2002 or 2001 I could change his gear ratio calibration using HPTuners, it wouldn't cost me a dime.

All I'm saying is he needs to find someone local to him that can do it like this.

I think most people are going to charge you the cost of the license. I know we just helped out a friend but he still had to pay the $100 for the license.

And to the OP. Nothing is free. I would do it for you at cost if you lived near me. But that would require I buy another license and that is like $100.
