Unhappy Timing Question

I have a question about timing. I am new at this EFILive Tuning. I have a 2001 SS Camaro with a manual transmission. I have the EFILive Scan & tune computer. When I scan my timing I have 41 degrees at 2000 RPM. I think that is too much. When I jump on it the RPM's goes up to 5908 and the timing went to 41.5 degrees and I had a 5.5 KR, the AFR was 23.81. Can anyone tell me if this looks right. The engine is stock. If anyone can give me an idea how to back down the timing I would appreciate it. The engine has always had a knock on a light load in between shifts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In the transition of 2000rpms to 5600rpms did the timing drop into the low/mid 20's degree area. Then when you let off the gas it immediately goes back to 40ish timing correct? How are you measuring AFR? Normal cruise timing will be high 30's and maybe very low 40's, under 3500 rpms anyway. Also is there a previous tune or handheld tuner on the vehicle?

JoeyGC5,Looking at my scan sheet the afr value reads across the sheet ,value 1463, min 1143, avg 1462, max 23.81. Sparkadv value 24.0 min 00. avg 28.9, max 41.5. KR value0.0 min 0.0, avg 0.1, max 5.5. I only had two days to mess with efilive program. Thanks for any help.
