By mechanical issue, I meant an exhaust leak, intake leak, pressure venting issue,...etc., something more related to tuning. As for my offer to help................your welcome.

Do you have access to any of the tune files, and if so, can you send the one that works, but fails inspection to me ryan212 at aol.com, and i will see if there is anything I can see.

It sounds like a tip-in hesitation issue. Does anyone have some standard ideas for fixing this? I have a similar issue on mine - I was going to try more throttle cracker air flow.

I would like to thank all members that sent offers like ls1-450 to help me. Car still has a hesitation like white hawk but had another person I met at the track staurday helped me today, back at the track. I pulled an all nighter switching the carb setup back to the injection he got the car to run alot better went 10.78 best today with the injection was running 10.40's with the carb so its working good now timing to get that hesitation fixed and final tuning done.

How would you go about doing this? I know its easy enough to go MAF 100% but going SD 100% without failing the MAF is a new one for me.

Have you tried using a different MAF? A bad MAF will cause the issues that you describe. Find someone with a stock MAF that you know works, put that on and take it for a drive. Just a thought.

Have you checked the PCm It self to make sure it is still running properly? It is possible that at some point in all those tunes someone screwed something up. Get a New PCM flashed with your Vin and start from scratch new a new tune. for all we know that pcm can be toast.

EFI LIVE doesn't have those tables. So I guess that is why I've never heard of it. Handy stuff to know.

Perhaps. I've looked on two so far 99+LS1 and an 05 1mb LS1. I couldn't see anything, but would be interested if there is something.

Hmm.. I am trying to remember this particular vehicle. I'm glad the car ran great at one point. How did you "add" closed loop? Did you change back all the parameters for closed loop? Could be a few parameters are still left.

I'd be glad to take a peek at it for you...

A customer owned the car when you tuned it according to him ? It did run the best at that point. I have bought the car from him now.
