Fresh Re-build running on 4 cylinders?
Just installed a completely fresh cam only motor in my TA. I'm not new to engine building at all, and I know for sure that it is timed perfect internally. It starts up and proceeds to run on 4 cyl. well I guess the wires leading to the crank position sensor are broken in the harness or something,- 4, 6, 1, and 7 don't fire at all.. (even the primary tubes on the headers are cool to the touch). It throws a crank position sensor code. I replaced the new CPS with another new one, and get the same result. The coil packs check out fine, wires are new MSD's, and plugs are new. Tried different tunes too.
sorry if this is in the wrong section, but most PCM guys know wiring too. Is there a reading I can check at the CPS w/ my multimeter?

BTW I re-wired and pinned the whole harness that goes to the pass side o2, starter, oil sensor, and CPS. Looks like they had some bare spots on them from previous idiots working on the car. It STILL does the same thing
