E-38 Tach Output

E-38 Tach Output Hey Guys,
So, I am working on a customers sprint car that we have an E-38 in and I would like to get a Autometer tach working. Problem is, what do I tell the computer to get the correct output signal.

Yep, the tach does have to be in 4 cyl. mode.
The problem is on the E-38 you can alter the output. We are having difficulties getting it to work and I wasn't sure if there were others trying to put a aftermarket tach on these controllers.

im still using my factory ecm but i used a stewart warner tach and you had to use ppr settings to get it to read right, i will have to go back and look at it but i can get an answer for you if ppr is what you are after.
