The LM2 package and instructions only show OBD2 stuff and I dont wanna tear all the analog wires up by splicing into no mans land!!! Any help or advide would be great!

I don't think you will be able to use the OBD-II scan function of the LM-II. Your OBD-I car does not have half the smarts the LM-2 needs.

You can still use the wideband and all the external data logging functions though.

Right, I know about the OBD-1 and OBD2 functions. But to get the O2 to work, what all is needed to get it to work? It seems like the instructions are very vague.

Without going through all the manual, it seems all you need to do is connect the sensor and the power cord. Hook it all up, calibrate the sensor (if it doesn't do it automaticly) and you are good to go.

Remember that you must always start the unit before the engine. Never run the engine with the sensor in and the unit off, that KILLS the sensor.

That's about it. If you are using a single channel unit, plug the sensor into the bottom plug.
