Default GMPP Computer

Does anyone know how to reprogram one with HP tuners. The damn thing wont let me change the vin nor will it allow me to read it.

We currently do not support these pcm's.

If I get the vin number changed to a car vin will that work or cant u even swap the vin period?

It would need to be a valid vin for that pcm(I believe the GMPP is E67) and then it might read out the calibration. However, the calibration itself is unsupported & if im not mistaken has a checksum issue with no work around currently.

HP tuner should be able to transfer/edit vins.

Won't work in this case, the operating system in the pcm's is not in our database and the vin number that comes in these pcm's is some oddball vin like LS1 xx GMPP or something weird. Our software requires you to have a license for the vin IN the pcm as well as the vin you are trying to write TO the pcm. Since the vin in the pcm is invalid theres no way to write a valid vin to the pcm with our software in this case.

But I can get GM to write me in a 2006 CTS vin and then I should beable to use it correct?
