TPS code and high idle???
TPS code and high idle??? I just changed my throttle cable on my car because I was running into problems with the cruise control switch getting stuck causing my car to not go 100% WOT. SO I ordered a new cable from the dealership that is strait from peddle to throttle body. Got everything installed and now when I give it a 100% WOT it sometimes throws an error code that the TPS is getting low voltage and high voltage. It also throws a high idle speed code. I clear the code with HP tuners and it comes right back when I go WOT. What should the TPS be set at with just vehicle power? I was getting feedback that it needs to be around 5-6% then off course when you floor it, it should be at 100% Is that the way to fix that service light? What about the high idle speed? Remember it doesn't idle high, just when it is at WOT, the computer says it is.
