RPO Codes
Are the RPO codes found anywhere other than the sticker on the driver's door jam?
The reason I ask is because my sticker is there, but the lettering has all faded away, and I can't read it. I think some cleaning chemicals stripped the ink off the sticker at some point in its history.
Have I lost all hope of getting the codes and identifying which options came on the car when it was new?

I actually think it was around 95 when they moved it. It WAS a very "smart" move though! The VIN is stamped into metal and riveted to the dash and won't fade or fall off from the elements, yet it's inside the car. Where as the RPO codes are on a sticker in the door jam which is exposed to weather, humidity and cleaning products. And it's not just a bash on GM, since most other manufacturers do this, but the part that is a bash on them is the fact that it was in a FINE location! What was wrong with 3rd Gen location of in the center console? o_0
