Thirdgen Trouble

89 Firebird (i know not lsx or ltx but maybe you guys can help) with gen I sbc. Car will start sometimes and then cut off...no spitting or sputtering...just cuts off like the battery is dead. Lights wont come on, gauges wont work ect. Checked the battery, its fine...cleaned the connections...did the same for the grounding wire....checked fuses and they are fine.

I'm runnin out of ideas here

It sound's like the is a break in the wire's somewhere you can't see it.It could even be a bad battery cable.

What about the ignition switch? I know nobody ever wants to hear that, what a pita.
