Not really hard. IIRC there is a nut on one end and a "quick" release on the other. Should take you about 20 mins on a lift. Search on here for a write up but not sure if there is one.

dont forget the gas has a play in it. within reason, not every gas station is the same. without getting into what brand is better (in that aspect theyre all the same), it boils down to the individual station. you could very well be getting **** gas from a particular station. it could be watered, lower then posted octane, old, dirty with sediment, etc. have you tried switching stations?

Wow, 20 PSI. Thats pretty low. Id check it in a couple days and if its down 4-6 PSI take it to a tire store to get it checked out.

90TSi, have you changed the fuel filter?
I shift 2k-2200 constantly. And skip gears a lot since the gears are so close sometimes. Meaning I got from 2nd to 4th, 4th to 6th. But went the whole way at pretty much 75mph in 6th gear, just a few shifts to 5th because a few hills were too steep for 6th.

Some of those numbers sound off to me, but I'll take your word for it.

I go to the same 2 gas stations every time I fill up, depending on which one has a bigger price difference. My uncle goes to the same one's for his Z28, and he has never reported an issue, so I'm fairly confident this isn't the issue.

BBall, haven't changed it for almost 100k miles!!! WOW! Hope you don't frequently run your tank low before filling it up. Fuel filters are VERY easy to do yourself, I'm getting ready to do my fiances mustang again today. Takes me 10mins on her car, about 20mins on mine.

Glad this thread has brought lots of replies and tips, and new issues from other members. Keep it up!

NO!!! Mine was changed almost 10k miles ago. Ill never let a fuel filter go longer than 20k miles. Its so easy and cheap to change its not worth it letting get much higher than that. The guy I replied to was the one that almost has it at 100k miles!

LOL Sorry about that, i replied from my phone and got the names backwards since it didn't all fit nicely on my screen.

Anyone though able to reply on the theory of MAF position? Or anything else I or others can do to try and improve MPG? Guess it isn't to expensive to order some NGK's and MSD Wires. But was gonna wait for header install to do those.
Anyways, take care all!

The only thing I can figure about the MAF is there is an arrow on top on the black strip and I would guess that would go direcetly at the top because that would make the bar in the MAF vertical
