clear coat

ok heres what my problem is my car is hard top and it rained pretty hard a couple of days ago and no the clear coat is pealing off what can i do to stop this when i get it repainted

anyone have nay info on this im in need majorly now about to go get the car painted and will need to now what to tell the painter

looks like who ever painted the roof black did not do a good job prepping. If you search, youll see a few threads with this same problem with factory paint. mainly on ls1 cars though.
