what size gear?

what size gear? right now i have a stock rear end and a 3.42 gear, later down the rd when i upgrade the rear end id like to do the gear as well, my question is what size gear is everyone runnin and why? thanks guys
You will get your best results searching in the "Gears and Axles" section, but I can tell you 3.73 for an A4 auto and 4.10/4.11 for an M6 6 speed and people don't tend to budge from those numbers!
