Default Putting 4.10s in the TA. Quick Question.

I'm getting ready to throw some 4.10s in my TA. Should I spend money on C-clip eliminators or not worry about it? also, anything else I should do while I'm down there?

i put 4.10s on my TA and i didnt do it. if your making enough power to break the rear axles then you should spring for the 12 bolt. the gears will fail before you break the axle.

I'm not pushing that kind of power lol. I just saw that they were fairly cheap and didn't know if I should just go ahead and do it while I have the extra money and the rear end apart lol.

Did you find some for a good price? The last time I checked they were around $150.00

Maybe I'm just a tight wad?

Well I didn't mean to imply that they were cheap, more towards me just having alittle extra money lol. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't just save the money I have and get a 12 bolt. What do you guys think of that idea? I really don't want to wait that long because I know it'll take me a minute or two to get the money lol. But should I wait?

IMO putting a penny in a 10 bolt is a waste, been there done that. I have had a 12 bolt since 2005, money well spent since I knew I would own this car for a long time. Ole Blue just turned 8 years old.

I agree with the statement of putting a money into a 10bolt it's a waste of time and money, I did it and wish I didn't. But at the time I was to much in a hurry and did it anyways if I could go back I would........

Well I rarely drive my car. Last year it only got 5k miles put on it, and I really don't have money for a 12 bolt. Believe me, if I had the money that's the route I would go.
