best mods for the ls1 IMO:
cam
ls6 intake
LT headers
you need to get air in and exhaust out as fast as possible. you almost can't do enough of this. then i like a cam for the hp gains just as long as you don't mind a decrease in drivability with larger cams. smaller cams are better for DD's
