1998 Firebird Heater hose replacement
New on the boards here and need some advice. I need to replace the heater hose assembly on a 1998 3.8 Firebird. I finally received the back ordered assembly from a local GM dealership and get it home and cannot figure out how to remove the torx bit that mounts the plate to the side fender well.
It looks like there is not enough room to get a socket onto it from the top and no room to work from bottom up. I did not want to remove too many things but it looks like there is a transmission line running from radiator to tranny and another tube for the AC unit all in the way. Does anybody have any idea's on what needs to be removed and what tools to use?
