Default Looking for technical manual(s)

About 15 years ago, my brother had a hard-bound technical book for his 1996 V6 automatic. It was about 3 inches thick, black with a white V6 on the cover.

I don't know what I did with that book, but I'd like to identify and find it - and other books like it.

Is anybody familiar with this book? Also, is anyone familiar with similar books?

You mean the factory service manuals like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-GM-CHEVROLET-CAMARO-PONTIAC-FIREBIRD-3-VOLUME-SERVICE-MANUAL-SET-/271313740830?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item3f2b8f241e&vxp=mtr

The B & W version was the "Preliminary" version of the 96 F-body manual - it was the first year for OBD II so ultimately those copies were replaced by "Final" (Green in color) versions.

The company you want to contact is "Helm" - they print them.

Thanks!

Sorry - the book I was trying to describe was a photo of a white v6 firebird on a black background. The image was full-color and the book was hard-bound. I've not seen it since.
