Default LSX swap, Supercharged plans

I have a '95 firebird and assume that i'll run into cowl issues with a 4.0l S/C or larger. does anyone have experience with cutting the cowl or know how much i have to cut with this setup

Does anyone have experience with cutting the cowl on 4th gen firebird

Lots of us have done it. I used a cut off wheel on my grinder. Make sure the windshield is protected from the sparks and hot metal shavings. Also, it is very easy to crack the windshield while doing this.....ask me how I know As long as you don't bump it or the tool jerks and strikes it, you should be fine.
