I'm a new guy. Hope the answer to my problem hasn't been already answered.
I am having a hard time removing my exhaust check valve on my 2000 Trans Am.
Any ideas?

A hard time removing it from which end, the hard pipe (to exhaust manifold) or the rubber hose (to the AIR system)?

Take the 2 bolts out of the exhaust manifold, remove the valve and tube assembly. Mount it carefully in a vise, I clamp the nut portion on the tube in the vise. Then use a propane torch and heat the nut portion on the valve until its red hot. Use a wrench and remove the valve. Be sure to use a high heat spec anti thread seize compound on the tube before installing the valve and don't over tighten it. I've done a bunch of these, they can be very hard to get off. Good Luck
