OK guys need ideas. 97 trans am with t56 trans, last year was driving and started to hear a knocking sound then car died. Loaded it onto a trailer and hauled it home. Looked underneath and saw a large puddle on trailer, I assumed the worst that I had thrower a rod through the block and lost all the oil. Well weather has been nice and got me to thinking about the car again so I checked oil on it and it is full and clean no water or anything. I'm curious if the puddle could have been trans fluid and if that could be why engine won't budge. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
