Default moving a/c condenser

Haven't checked space wise but since my car is procharger it doesn't use the ram air from the hood. I was wondering if I could put my a/c condenser there and use the air from the hood to cool it. Don't know how hot one gets though so that would be a question I'd need to find out.

2nd would be if it does get hot I'd probably have to put fans on it which would pretty much kill the idea lol.

What's everybody else think?

depending on the hood you have, I dont think you would get much airflow over the coil, assuming it would even fit there but I'm thinking it wont unless you lay it down and then you definitely wont get any airflow over it.

why are you wanting to move it exactly?

Seems a shame to have a ram air hood and it not doing anything lol. Got a procharger f1a and it's right up to the rad with the hat on. So I could put two small condenser in the hood and put a bigger radiator in plus move it forward. Would also help cooling if I use the a/c since it wouldn't be pushing hotter air through the radiator. I have the motor out so I could the way it looks get away with 2 8x24x1.5 condensers in the nostrils of the hood.

Would then cut two exit holes that would come out above the cowl of the windshield is. Then seal the underside of the nostrils so it would then come in the front and exit out the back without going into the engine bay.

I can post pics about what I'm talking about later.

It should work. Also the back of the nostrils are way above the motor so I could put a puller fan on each one and wire it to the low speed fans.

Picture of the hood to get a better picture.

so the rad would be laid down and start where the bump for the latch is or where the cutout is where it would meet up with the lid. I would then angle it like / from front to the back of the hood. Cut two exit as show on the picture for the air to escape. I could then seal the area where the green line is so the air would go out the exits. Puller fans depending how thick they are could be put at the back of the hood since there is a lot more area in the back then up front.

Just would have to run flex hose to the original a/c lines.

It can fit just don't know if it would work lol.

AC condenser needs air flow via cooling fans in low speed driving and traffic and or stopped and idling.
