2002 Blackbird I've recently seen a guy posting his TA as a Blackbird 2002? I've never seen this or even heard about it. He says that only 50 were made and that it's extremely rare. Is there such a thing is a Pontiac TA Blackbird? He did mention she was pulling 380hp/400tq. I dont' know, now I want to research on this black bird beast.
GMMG makes these beasts. They are the builders of it. It is quite a cool 'bird. There was Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 2 is much more rare...with numbers of 420hp/450tq(?) I believe. Not sure how much they cost new but they are quite rare.
GMMG built these cars for Carl Black Pontiac, but they're in GA, not Oklahoma. As far as any being built for 2002 I don't know on that. I thought 2001 was the last year any were built. They were a very awesome car though and I think the Stage 1 cars listed for right at $40k. Carl Black also had a limited run of about 14 Formulas' that were done that had some of the same features of the Blackbird's. Unfortunately these cars didn't take off that well, so they were never numbered by the dealership. You can see the pictures of the Formula from the link in my sig.

Some time ago I read in another forum where someone got his hands on a totalled BlackBird and put some of the salvaged BlackBird parts on his car (floor mats, air lid, etc) . looked really good IMO.

Blackbird Year One Edition #1 Hi there, I own a 2002 Blackbird ,A Year One Special Edition T/A , Its car # 1 and new it priced out a 49k. Its an awsome car to drive and take to car shows. This car is 1 of 6 Year one editions made in 2002 and sold at Carl Black Pontiac in GA. 
all i can see thats different would be the intake...like a lid and filter...seems like it for that...Pro 5.0 shifter....and GMMG catback only with Eibach pro-kit and some other suspension...i see no other engine mods...so if some1 can give info on that thatd be nice...cuz comparing my car to a blackbird is my excuse on getting stuiff to the g/f and family lol....they kno iu had my heart set on one in the 1st place....so thats why....2 bad i didnt have all the cash
anybody got info on whats so different between the WS6 and Blackbird other than catback, and an airlid...with suyspension and wheels...and all the lil gadgets? do they have like better cooling system new crank pulley? lower T-stat? new y-pipe? anything significantly different?

Blackbird mods 380 HP Blackbirds have larger T-Body ,computer tuning, ported heads and manifolds,underdrive pulleys,full flow carbon fiber air lids ,full flow cats,and chambered exhaust. Hope this helps.

Blackbird T/A's Guys, i just was looking around the internet cause i just quit my job and had some free time. When i seen someone saying they hadnt heard anything abou the Blackbird trans am i t remeinded me of me. I didnt find out about them until a guy i worked with, Tommy, from virginia had one and i talked to him about it one day cause it was the most beautiful car i had ever seen. Blue and White 17'' american racing wheels, sharp as hell. Anyways long story short. Made good friend, rode in car, drove car, bout died after driving car, and wish i had 40k to buy one. but yea they made them, they are beautiful, glide on air at 150 mph, gets you GOOD *****, even if your ugly, and is probally the fastest "stock" vehicle i have ever drove. wish i had one and you probally do too if you dont!
