Default 2002 a/c compressor

Any of you have a compressor bearing squeal? Can this be replaced without messing with the r-134 charge? The a/c works fine

i did it in my previous car without touching anything besides the pulley and bearing, it was not fun even with the right tools (which are an absolute must).

If you consider your time worth much, i might suggest just getting the system evacuated and putting a new compressor on.

Default bearing

So is the clutch bearing replaceable or is it part of the clutch.

I soaked the clutch in lubricating spray and let it sit all night. Silenced it up until I can decide to either fix it right or pull the A/C during my Turbo build. Just make sure you don't get it on the belts....

Not a fix but a bandaid. To fix it right you'll usually have to pull it off the compressor so its easier replacing the whole unit.
