Default Replacement tail lights

Are there new ones being produced for a reasonable price, or do I just need to go on to eBay and find a decent set for '93-97?

If youre talking about the "grid" taillights, common on 93-97 Formulas and Trans Ams, nobody is making them, ebay is a crapshoot, most have the delamination issues with them. You can occasionally find a good set on eBay.

I have tried looking for anyone who reproduces those tail lights, but it's one of those parts that no one has kept up with, unlike the Camaro , not enough demand and no money to make on them I suppose. I had my heart set on the retro-style lens conversion offered by 6LiterEater for the 98-02 taillight housings, but they have since been discontinued before I had the chance to make my move.

I just hope something comes along in the next few years because my tail lights are falling apart and the plastic is dry rotting. I am keeping them rain proof with flex shot, but the reflectors may be peeling away inside. It's only a matter of time.

You can take a shot at some retro tail lights yourself:

I'll most likely be selling this pair relatively soon, going to be trying another look on the car.
