Default Alternator question
Quick question
1995 firebird trans am 350 lt1 will the alternator from a 1991 Camaro 305 or 350 (alternator is smaller) fit on the trans am and is there mounting points of the alternator the same or would it have to be modified.

Trying to get around grinding on the valve covers and the back of the alternator if I can help it.

seeing as how you can upgrade to the CS 144 from a CS 130....seems you can go backwards....never done it myself tho
