Default Egr valve

I need new egr for my 89 gta 5.7. Cant seem to find delco part number. Dont wanna get bwd brand from advance auto parts. What best brand now days or the oem number?

Rockauto has the standard motor egv393 if you want that brand. They also have the airtex/wells 4f1113 if you prefer. Both are decent brands and Rockauto has a 5% off deal in the sponsor section.

I doubt you'll find a delco at this point so it's a matter of which aftermarket brands you prefer.

Do you have a manual or automatic? Autozone was the ONLY STORE to ask me when I was seeking out a Delco EGR valve. It is hit or miss if you want one in stock but sometimes they can special order them if you are not in a rush. Apparently the manual EGR valves are different from the automatic ones. Make sure you get the correct part!

I feel like an idiot. Actually when I pulled vacuum line off which corrected my problem was that of fuel pressure regulator. Not egr. So I ordered a standard brand one..Thanks for feedback. Just so you know my car would idle fine but put in gear it would act like the car had a cam. Would lunge and die. Its automatic by the way.
