Default 1997 Pontiac Trans Am LT1 cooling fans always running

Hello I have an issue with my 1997 Pontiac trans am. I just recently replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Installed a new water pump and heater core lines. So now that I got it all back together I am running into an issue. I believe I was able to purge all the air as the car isn’t overheating, but the cooling fans are always running full tilt and not allowing the car to get hot.

Car is stock with nothing modded. It’s also a 6 speed manual. What could be causing the fans to stay on all the time? They didn’t before I did this.

Yes one SES light. PO122. The fans are not one right away. Seems like around 180is they come on and run. I know that is not right as they are supposed to come on around 220-240ish (as per what the shop service manual says).
