Well, it does warm my heart to think that at least SOME LS1 f-bodies are appreciating in value (perceived or otherwise), as I always suspected they would eventually. The LS1 WS6s have to be near the top of the desirability list, if not for the exterior looks, for the nicer interior appointments (seats, speaker systems, dash layout etc.) compared to the Chevy.
It's curious that the WS6 is held in such regard. The Firehawks get lesser attention, which to me, the 2002 with the IROC spoiler, manual, and blackwing lid, are the more desirable editions (at least of the 4th gens). I can understand the GMMG being lesser known, but those do bring big money, naturally.
Streetside prices is always way higher than they ever sell for. They do that with everything but at least it lets the conversation start. I've know multiple people who have purchased and sold through them. Those that sold never got close to the listed price and the buyers didn't page anywhere close to what was advertised.
The LS1 cars have finally started to get some love from those that didn't know them back when new but I'd be damned to spend LS7 C6 money for a 4th Gen F-Body of any flavor or mile.
