T-Tops?

hey this is gunna sound like a silly question but did the 2002 firebird come in a T-top if not when was the last year that they made firebirds with T-top?

T-Tops have been around since 1970 (second generation) to 2002, the last year Firebirds and Camaro's were made. From 1998-2002 they were standard on all Trans-AM's.

So basically they've almost always been available.

I thought they were on the Firebirds since 1977 or so. Didn't think they came on the earlier of the 2nd generations.

Perhaps I'm wrong?

I thought they did but you might be right. I know for a fact that they've been on the 1977's on up.

I believe 75-76 one of those was the first year for the t-tops. I'll post back on it tomorrow when I can double check.

Yeah, I think the first years were 76 when Fisher or Hurst made them.

1976 was the first year for T-tops, and they were rare. The black and gold limited edition was limited to 643 with t-tops. They were available as a separate option starting in 1977.

The 2002 Formula came standard with T-tops as well because when I ordered my car I didn't want them but they were standard. I do enjoy them though.
