rich or lean?

Default rich or lean?

i currently have a trans am ws6 with header install, custom y pipe , and LM exhaust. just wondering how i can tell if im running lean or rich, and what are the end results of each one as far as damaging to the engine...gains...etc any piece of information as far as that is really appreciated. any other questions just ask related to my question thanx

You are probably running rich. Lean is dangerous for your engine. Rich kills your gas mileage. If you aren't going to add anymore mods for a while I would invest in a dyno tune.

If you are running lean, you will be down on power. You engine temps will go up, and lean mixtures are hard to ignite. If you are rich, your fuel consumption will go up, you will be down on power. You will foul plugs and, depending on other factors, a rich mixture can lead to detonation. You would benefit from a professional dyno tune. You never did say how your car is running.

well my car seems to be running fine, but whenever i start up, i could hear popping noises (rarely happens) and i can smell fuel from inside my car (dunno if that means ne thing) and i really dunno waht else to say but what other things yall need to know?

and yea im investing on a tune right now which should run me about 500 bucks?

what would lean look like on the dyno? I had mine done and the A/F was at 13.68, 13.57, and 13.62

I dont know what that means. can someone clear this up for me
