Default 2004 Firebird Calendar

For those of you with a 2004 Firebird Calendar, the month of November is fast approaching--time to turn the page for a new 'bird. The 'bird featured for the month of November just happens to be mine!

The photo was taken October 2001 in Southern Indiana at Brown County State Park. I had to do some serious off-roading up a rather steep incline in order for that shot to be taken. The photographer promised to pay any tickets I might receive from the park ranger. Fortunately, no citations were issued and we got our shot!

That's one nice pic, Must feel pretty good to look at it and know it's your car on that page and not one that looks just like it.

Out of all the things I could have gotten with that car (trophies, etc...) I think a feature in a calendar is pretty cool. Yeah, it's basically still the same outward appearance (From when the pics were taken) with exception to my custom-made center caps and drilled/slotted brake rotors.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a 2005 Firebird Calendar. Looks like 2003 and 2004 are gonna be it.

Wow, that is a good lookin picture! Very nice! There are a few Gen III-powered Pontiac's in the 2005 LS1tech calendar, but those members can't tell you who they are just yet

Really? Anyone know why the Firebird Calendar was discontinued? I thought they sold out in '03 and '04.

Though I just sent off for my LS1Tech calendar so I'm not overly sad. but those were such nice calendars.

Thanks! I turned the calender over a few days early so that I could get a little extra enjoyment out of it I'm excited to see the LS1tech calendar....I've already placed my order. I wouldn't want anyone to squeal and ruin the surprise

I know the gentleman that was responsible for the Firebird calendar, and have been friends with him ever since the photoshoot. He just didn't sell enough of them to make it worthwhile. Yes, I thought the printing and paper quality were excellent!

That's too bad there will not be a 2005 calendar. We got to keep this hobby alive by seeing people's ideas for their F-bodies.

I just spoke with the guy who did the calendar via email this week, and he said he just couldn't keep throwing money at it. He said less calendars were sold in for the '05 than the '04, and neither year was profitable. He still loves Firebirds, and hates that he couldn't keep the calendar alive. He just recently picked up a '02 WS6 T/A.

I just saw a post from Zangel in the Appearance & Detailing Forum saying the first batch of LS1tech calendars have shipped.....I'm not feeling so bad about not having a 200f Firebird calendar now

Agreed! Some awards or honors are better than others. Stay tuned to Chevy High Performance in the coming months....
