winter storage preparation?
winter storage preparation? Getting ready to garage the TA for the winter here in Indiana...never stored a car before, anything special I should do if it is going to be sitting in the garage for a few months?
I've done this for the last 4 years:
1) fresh oil - changed it the day I stored it
2) 1 bottle of sta-bil and filled it to the brim with 93 octane
3) ran it once a month till it got up to operating temperature
4) in spring, got it up to operating temperature through EASY driving and changed the oil.
5) Took it Easy until tank is empty and filled with fresh fuel.
This has worked for me.

I did all the normal suff but I like to Spray silicone on the engine compartment and under side. keeps everything new looking.Pull my rim's and clean the back sides of them. Silicone those also. Then I put a light soap spray on in the spring and wash it all off.
