Diff service on Firehawk
Thanks to y2k_ta for pointing me where to get a replacement Fiehawk Owners Manual Supplement.
While I'm waiting for it to arrive does anyone have the specific instructions on checking and topping-up the fluid levels in the rear end? - do I remember there are specific procedures?
Thanks again,
Frank

I bought a bottle of diff. fluid from my local Napa that is already pre-mixed with the necessary additives to keep the rear quiet. I've never drained the original fluid, so what's still left in there has been in there for over 117,000 miles. So far so good.....

Soon I'll be switching my 2.73 gears/2-series carrier for 3.42 gears/3-series carrier. I'm also going to use a TA Performance Girdle. I'll upgrade to synthetic fluid at that time.
