Default best fluids?

I was watching Speed TV and saw an add for a fuel additive from Lucas Oil, are their products worth the money or should I stick with Red Line?

Also, I have to replace the accessory belt, should I look for any specific brand or part number or should the general motors belt be fine. Car is stock for now but I am planning on investing in it so I wasn't sure if I should look for a belt that is more of a performance base or not.

thanks

I have worked at Advanced Auto Parts for about 2 &1/2 years now. I was using Mobil 1 until we started carrying Redline. Now I am a huge supporter of Redline products; however, I also love lucas. I haven't heard anything bad about either of these products(Except those who complain about the price). Any supior product comes with a higher cost DUH!
Recently Lucas has came out with a Fully synthetic oil additive. You can put it in oil or gear oil. Since this product has came out I have been using 3.5-4 quarts of Redline, 1 quart of lucas fully sythetic additive, and of course a trusty K&N oil filter. I have been very happy with this oil change combo.

As far as the fuel additive goes... Lucas is very good. If you are having a lot of problems with your fuel system I would recomend Greased Lighting. For maintainece stick with Lucas. Also Lucas has an octane booster that I like. The other octane booster I like is "NOS booster". I can't really speak for the Redline fuel additive because I haven''t really tried it or even know anyone who has, but if it has the redline name then I am sure it is a very good product.

Accesory belts... Not every belt is the same. DAYCO is the way to go! I know very many well trusted mechanics that will only use Dayco. It is a superior belt to the "regular Belt" and will come with a 1 year warrenty if it should break within a year. I hear that Gates belts are also very good, But Advance doesn't sell them so I really can't speak from experience.

Well thats my 2cents worth,
Joey
