Default Ste. Thérèse, Quebec assembly plant

This may seem utimately to be a goofy sounding post, but I'm curious nonetheless. As I stood today in my garage looking at my 2002 Formula, I wondered if any Formulas received the LS6 block. Mine judging by its color did not. Then I thought if the answer was always no, (no Formulas received the LS6 block), did GM at the assembly plant make a conscious decision in which only certain V8 models of the Firebird would get the block. Going one step further did they make distinctions in other ways, for example car x is destined to become a WS6, therefore equip that car with parts (shared among all other V8 models) with parts x,y,z of higher tolerances than the other models? Seem to much like a conspiracy theory?, I don't mean for it to. Just curious. Maybe some member(s) here worked at the Plant, or are engineers at GM who could shead any light. As always any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Jon

I doubt it, I bet it was all simply random.
