I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum, but I still need some help! I found a '01 WS6 M6 w/ 63,400 miles on it for $15850.00. Is this a good price? Car seems to be in good shape, except for some rock chips in the paint and a few minor door dinges. I'm going to test drive the car tomorrow and really go through it to make sure it's in good working order though. I'm buying from an individual, he's had the car on ebay and in the AutoTrader(i believe) and hasn't had much luck. I was going to try to get him to $14,500.00-15,000.00 but don't know if he'll come down. I really want a WS6, but would like to get a good deal at the same time. Any input will be appreciated. If the price is fair or if I should try and get him down on the price let me know.

Maybe you could get an estimate on the cost of repairing the chips and dings, and talk him into lowering the price by that much?

Man, i'd say its fair i'd pay it, but if you can have him lower it, negotiate away

 

LOOKS GOOD-always try to get him to lower the price--you won't find a more cool car in my books---I'm partial of course....

 

The price isn't bad, but I'd definitely try to get him down. There are quite a few of these cars out there, and I'm sure you'll be able to find others with that mileage or lower. I always shop price, but I'll pay a premium for a clean, low-mileage car.
