Formula/TA?

Formula/TA? Did they make a Formula/TA? This lady on another chat board swears up and down that she has one.The Formula has different seats,front and rear bumpers are diff. and the spoilers are diff. also.

they made the formula and the T/A. yeah, the formula had the firebird front and rear and spoiler, but the LS1/LT1 engine. it was only availabe in hardtop. the T/A was the top of the line(factory) with different front/rear/spoiler nicer interior, T/tops or vert. they were totally separate versions. the T/A is an upgraded formula so to speak, but is separate

She said hers was a Ta Formula.I didn't think they made one.The TA is the top of the line,the Formula is a base model of the v6 firebird with the v8 and the optional 6-speed,with t-tops or a hard top.

Sounds like she read a Carfax report or insurance card 
They tend to list the Formula and Trans Am together as "Formula/Trans Am" because they're close enough in similarity to be treated the same for those purposes (key point being both have the V8 engine instead of the V6).

Hopefully that lady will get her info straight. She's not the first to struggle with what to call the 'birds....
I've run into people (including family members) that think the Trans Am and Firebird are two different cars. Obviously that's not the case since they're all Firebirds. The Formula, Trans Am, and Firehawk just happen to be different models within the Firebird brand.

I have heard of them,dont know how much truth there is to it but I heard it looks like a bone stock trans am and has all of the options,12 disc changer,ws6 suspension and exhaust. Except ws6 hood and wheels. Its suppost to be in the vin number,but you know how that goes.
