Where could i get more specs, learn about how to mod this car, and where could i dyno this car in Kernersville, N.C.?
Thanks
The LS1 tech of the 3rd gen world, just about any mod that can be done to a 3rd gen you can find it there.
One word of advice use the search button, they are really rather bitchy about not using it

Ain't that the truth. There is an old saying...."Work with what you have and what you know"
Stock form yes the TBIs weren't really that powerful, but it can easily be made into a wolf in sheep's clothing...it doesn't take much to open up these cars.
And the 305 stands for 305 cubic inches...and besides the LO3 TBIs weren't made for mad performance, the car still has some ample power backed up to it when limited and it is still quicker than most cars today (and I mean most cars) obviously if a freaking Camaro SS pulls up next to you and rev at you, don't you dare rev back, you just tuck your tail in between your legs and know he will beat you....
LO3 were bullet proof engines, they are known for reliability and excellent gas mileage, I get around 17mpg in the city but thats because I am running on a dirty air filter as well which can affect your overall mileage up to 10 percent.
They are 20mpg in the city cars and if tuned well 30mpg on the highway, by no means are they are a horsepower machine, but if you want torque, and you want response you get it in this package....not to mention this thing can corner and handle great...
Its the best car I have owned to date, albeit my car needs a bit more work, but nothing engine related...very good and they will last you a long time.

My girlfriend lives in Kernersville. What are you near in K-ville? (If you ever see a red 4th gen with C5 wheels, that's me- Im the only one around)

There is also my good friend who just got a white SS. We both go down 66 a lot. We cruise and look at the car lots. It's always fun to go into that Ford dealership and rev at the people looking at Mustangs.
Shoot me a PM if you ever want to meet up with a couple more F-bods, I'll arrange something.
