Diff between Ram Air, WS6 & Formula
What are the differences in these packages (98 THRU 2002) ...My husband seems to think I'm wrong so I thought I would prove I'm right....
I'm sure theres an old thread somewhere...but I couldn't find it...

Not much of a difference between TA, formula, and WS6. Mostly appearance differences.
TransAm - LS1 Engine, leather, T-tops.
WS6 - LS1 Engine, leather, T-tops, Ram Air hood, upgraded suspension.
Formula - LS1 engine, firebird body. can be had with WS6 package.
What exactly are you looking to prove him wrong about?

A Formula is essentialy a Firebird body with the LS1.
Trans Am's have a different nose and tail than the firebird and formula, and start life with and LS1.
"Ram Air" is a term people use for the WS6 package. Trans am and Formula could be had with the WS6 package, which upgrades those models to 17 in rims, "Ram Air" hood, and some suspension upgrades..
Usually a controversy between WS6 owners and non WS6 owners, but the "performance" difference is fairly negligible, and mostly helps handling.
