2000 T/A WS6 question
hey guys,
i found a 2000 ws6 M6 for sale with 6,500 miles. the guy toldme he would take $21,750. the car has most options on it. behind the passenger t top there is a lil scratch and the car has had a fender replpaced from a deer running into it when it was parked. 2 rims have minor road rash.
what do you guys think about the price?

i have a 2000 WS6 that i paid $21.5 for. i know a lot of people on here that would tell you that you can find them for a lot cheaper, but if you're adimate about a low mileage car that is stock and as close to a new car as you can get for a car that is no longer made, that's a reasonable price. i spent 2 months scowering websites, autotrader mags, local lots, forums... you name it! admittadly, there were a few deals that i just wasn't quick enough on that would have worked out better financially, but for 6k miles that price seems more than reasonable. in two months there were maybe a select few other cars that had the m6 with low miles in good condition for a better price ($18.5k was the cheapest one i found that was still worthy of purchase). fyi... my car had 13,9XX miles on it the day i picked it up. i even flew a thousand miles from San Antonio TX to Denver CO just to get it. don't be afraid to look around the entire country for a nice ride. if it's in good condition, it's worth the effort to retrieve it. plus... you get to spend all that time driving it back!
thank you Llust. i told the guy yesterday that i will take it. it jsut so happend it isnt that far from me but i was willing to travel. but hearing that it wasnt a bad price for the miles is making it much easier. i figure with the lil extra money in the begining for no miles it may help me in the resale again. not planing on selling it any time soon though. well see
thanks
